    Overview - Backorders By Customer Group Magento 2 Extension

    This extension will provide you an admin setting at the path, Store > Configuration > RedChamps > Backorders By Customer Group to choose customer group(s) for which you want to allow product backorders. The backorders will work when below two conditions will be satisfied

    1. 1. Backorder is turned ON at the product level
    2. 2. The customer viewing the product has customer group from the selected values in setting "Store > Configuration > RedChamps > Backorders By Customer Group - Allowed Groups"

    Simple and elegant solution
    We needed a simple module to allow only specific customer groups to backorder items and this seemed just right. The config is dead simple. We had a small issue at first integrating it with our setup but Rav was able to resolve this quickly and provide an updated module. We have MSI (Multi-Source Inventory) disabled and this is compatible. Technical note: Excellent use of Plugins and no overrides. Big thanks!

    We would like to allow product backorders to our wholesale customers only and this plugin helped us to achieve so.
