    Overview - Extra Sorting Options Magento-2 Extension

    As the name describes, this extension will allow you to add extra sorting options to Magento's category & search pages. The additional sorting options are

    • Newest: Will sort the products by the date of their creation
    • Bestseller: Sorts based on the sales of products

    There are many such extension available from different vendors however almost none of them supports the Smile ElasticSuite addon. This is the reason this extension is developed.

    Just what we needed
    Great module, it was just what we needed, I dont know why Magento stopped using the sorting option "Newest" so this one brings that besides the option to sort by Bestsellers, two thumbs up!

    Customer service and support the same, great, we had a small problem and they fixed it ASAP

    It works with ElasticSearch (as many now don't) to sort by Newest and Bestselling.
    The only thing I'd like to see is more sort by options. It's not easy to extend and it's not quite enough for us as it stands with only the two options. Looking forward to seeing more added in the future.

    Finally best seller sort for ElasticSuite
    This is the only bestseller sort I have found that actually works with ElasticSuite. Installed and immediately worked as advertised. Other sorts such as Amasty's sort has been buggy and non-functional with ElasticSuite. After numerous attempts with support to get it working, we gave up. Switched to RedChamps and we're up and running in minutes.
