Overview - Free Shipping Notification Bar Magento-2 Extension
This Magento 1 extension display a notification bar at top or bottom of your website to display the availability and progress of free shipping.
It will work like below:
- Customer landed on website: He will see message in bar "We will pay for shipping for order over $100"
- Customer added a shoe worth $75 to shopping cart: Now, the message will be changed to "Only $25.00 left for free shipping. Recommended Product(s)". The text "Recommended Product(s)" is a hyperlink to the page which will display product suggestions starting from price $25.
- Customer added another product worth $25 or more: the message will be changed to "Great! your order will be delivered for free!Checkout Now"
The text of these messages can be edited from admin settings.

Works well
I like the per country configuration for free shipping, simple but good solution. It doesn't know when people are using a proxy/vpn that's why I would like to request also a feature to show the detected country, for not to have misunderstanding.
For example: Only $25.00 left for free shipping to Belgium.

Simple, easy to install, easily configured.
Country-specific feature is essential. Sometimes the text colors I configured aren't sticking, not sure why. Will investigate using custom CSS, but can't find any documentation for this feature.

The basic feature to turn off notification for a specific country is just awesome because commonly store's doesn't provide worldwide free shipping.

1. Subtotal Display: Using it you can choose if the free shipping goal calculation needs to be done on 'Excluding Tax' or "Including Tax" subtotal amount
2. Ajax Cart URL: If you are using a third party extension for ajax cart functionality and Free Shipping Bar's content is not refreshing after adding product to cart without page reload, then you can add ajax cart action URL to this setting in order to fix the problem.
3. Allowed Pages: Using this setting you can allow or disallow Bar visibility on specific pages
