Overview - Invoice Email Magento 2 Extension

In Magento, there is a bug in which invoice email is not sent to the customer when he/ she places an order from a storefront, even if the order is paid & invoiced with an online payment method. This doesn't work even when the admin setting, Store > Configuration > Sales > Sales Emails > Invoice > Enabled is ON.

Invoice Email - Magento 2 extension helps solve this problem. It follows the admin setting Store > Configuration > Sales > Sales Emails > Invoice > Enabled and send invoice email to customer accordingly.

Use Case:

When a merchant wants that a PDF invoice is sent to a customer, automatically, after the order has been placed and paid, this extension comes to use in combination with extension from Fooman named "Fooman Email Attachments".

Our extension will trigger invoice email and Fooman one will add the PDF document as an attachment to it.
