Overview - Login with OTP Magento-2 Extension

Almost every website/store has a login system and a customer has to remember or save username & password for all these stores. Here this extension comes in place, it allows a customer to just enter his/her email address and the system will send an OTP(One Time Password) to his email address. He/She can then enter that OTP on the store and securely log in to the account.

What exactly this Magento extension does?

It adds a new button named "Login with OTP" to the customer login page on Magento 2 store. After clicking that button, the customer has to enter his/her email address and the extension will send an OTP to the specified email address. The customer can then enter that OTP and login to the account.

How can this extension be beneficial to a store?

We at our store receive a lot of 'Forgot Password' requests as it is hard to remember passwords for so many websites. So, this extension makes the process of logging into existing customer account easier. The customer just needs to remember his email address and he is all good to go :-)
