    This Magento 2 extension will display product weight in the shopping cart, admin order view, create areas and shipment PDF documents. It will display:

    • The individual weight of items
    • Total weight of cart/order
    • You can disallow weight display on storefront shopping cart by admin setting

    Overview - Product Weight Display Magento-2 Extension

    Product/Cart weight is responsible for shipping cost and most of the time shipping cost can be a deciding factor if the customer buys the product(s) or not. So, an eCommerce shop should have a transparent display of product weights in the shopping cart. So that customers can keep an eye on them.

    Also, while processing the order in admin, you should be aware of the total weight of the order so that you can decide the appropriate shipping method and packaging.

    To solve these problems, we developed this extension. It will display

    • [Storefront] Weight of each product in the shopping cart
    • [Storefront] Total weight of the shopping cart
    • [Storefront] Total cart weight on the checkout page
    • [Admin Panel] Weight of each product in the admin order view
    • [Admin Panel] Total weight of the order
    • [Admin Panel] Weight of individual product while creating order from admin
    • [Admin Panel] Total weight of products while creating order from admin
