Overview - Return Stock on Order Hold Magento-2 Extension
Here’s a smart way to sell more products, keep all the customers happy, and grow your revenue manifold - "Return Stock on Order Hold" extension!
The extension has been developed keeping in mind the loss of customers and revenue due to a minor technicality on the store. Now, when you put an order on hold for a long time due to payment issues, delivery address issues, or any other reason, the stock of product(s) in the order remains occupied by that order and is not available for purchase to the other customers.
This can become a problem when a product is available in limited qty. For example, consider you have 2 "MacBook Pro" products available in stock, and a customer orders the 2 products by using a payment method, "Check/Money Order". The order’s status is put "on hold" until the payment is credited. If another customer tries to buy this product "MacBook Pro", he/she will see an "out of stock" status, and will quickly move on to another store to purchase the product.
But you can stop the customer from leaving your store with this simple extension. The "Return Stock on Order Hold" Magento extension allows you to keep the product "in stock" when you put the order on hold. The product will be seen "in stock" on the frontend, giving you time to make the product available in the warehouse - a simple way to not lose any customers and sale!
